Xiaomi has just unveiled its latest smartphone, the REDMI Turbo 4 Pro, at an event in China, staying true to its earlier announcements. This new device boasts a large 6.83-inch 1.5K LTPS flat screen that uses M9 light-emitting material, offering a brightness that can reach up to 3200 nits with dual brightness calibration at 100 nits and 600 nits. The design features very thin bezels on three sides (1.5mm) and a slightly thicker chin (1.9mm).
Under the hood, the REDMI Turbo 4 Pro stands out as the first phone to use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. To keep things cool during intense use, it has a 6000 square millimeters dual-loop 3D ice cooling system and Xiaomi’s Rage Engine 4.0 software tuning. The phone has a comfortable feel in hand thanks to its rounded corners with a 12.4mm radius and a consistent curve on both the inside and outside edges.
Built with durability in mind, the phone uses CNC technology and sandblasting on its aviation aluminum alloy metal frame, which is just 7.98mm thick. Xiaomi claims it can withstand up to 70 kg of bending force. It also comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications for excellent dust and water resistance.
The back of the phone features a full metal camera area with a 50MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. It also has a light ring around the camera that can be adjusted for brightness. The standard version offers a choice of three soft-touch glass back covers in different colors. Powering the device is a large 7550mAh battery that supports 90W fast wired charging and 22.5W reverse fast charging. Additionally, the phone includes a special kilometer-level network-free technology.

REDMI Turbo 4 Pro Harry Potter Limited Edition
Xiaomi has also introduced a special REDMI Turbo 4 Pro Harry Potter Limited Edition, which is only available with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The design of this edition focuses on the camera area, with a unique angled design and a floating image of a character next to it. At the bottom of the back cover, there’s a 3D image of a character that can be seen without special glasses, created using nanolithography.
This special edition also comes with a new Harry Potter-themed user interface and is packaged in a black and gold gift box inspired by the Deathly Hallows.
