Realme P4 Series Launch: Specs, Highlights & First Impressions

Yesterday redmi launched its budget phone under 15k now on August 20, 2025 Realme launched its brand new Realme P4 Series as you know those launches where the world seems to blink, and suddenly everything expectations, price brackets, even the old pecking order shifts? That’s the feeling I had watching the Realme P4 Series Launch unfold in India and globally.

First, set the scene before we go into the specifications, AI features, and unavoidable price arguments. Before the launch, the phrase “Realme P4 Series Launch Date” was popular. This phone was not your typical one. No apologies, it was Realme doubling down on brass tacks and massive risks.

Why the Realme P4 Series Is a Game-Changer in 2025

It’s the battery, to be honest. Or the screen. or the AI, perhaps. You see, this isn’t just another incremental release of the Realme P4 Series. With a 7,000mAh battery in your pocket, this series challenges anyone to label it “ordinary.” Yes, it is heavy. But in a world where we’re lucky to get through the day without anchoring to a power bank, that’s a godsend.

What’s different is how Realme didn’t treat those extra specs like marketing fluff. When you test it(and yes, my screen-on-time has been absurd this week), you realize: it just feels right. The Realme P4 Series is unapologetically large, fast, and surprisingly svelte for hardware this nettlesome.

Realme P4 vs P4 Pro: Which Model Should You Buy?

The  Realme P4 Series comes with two models, one is Realme P4 5G and  other  one is Realme P4 Pro 5G. Let’s not kid ourselves, the differences aren’t small.

  • Realme P4 5G: Dimensity 7400 Ultra, AMOLED at 144Hz, IP68/IP69, two cameras. Enough, but not exciting.
  • Realme P4 Pro 5G: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, OLED at 6,500 nits (ridiculously bright, even in the city), triple rear camera with OIS, a wooden grain case that’s either beautiful or too much, depending on your taste.

It is not about “which is better” and more about “which fits your life”. And of course, gaming and AI features are bumped up for the Pro, but more on that later.

Realme P4 Series Price in India

When it comes to prices, it’s never a simple conversation. It comes with Rs.18,499 price for P4 5G base, up to Rs.28,999 price for P4 Pro 5G maxed out. With early bird sales, discounts and swap deals you can shave off a nice chunk if you time it right.

Today the early bird sale is live between 6-10 pm on Flipkart. First-wave sales start August 25 for the regular P4 and August 27 for the Pro. Miss it and you’ll be trawling offline stores, maybe paying more just because you want the Engine Blue and not the Forge Red. Such is retail. Such is life.

Where to Buy Realme P4 Series Online & Offline in India

You can buy it from Flipkart and realme.com. Also it  is available  in mainline retail shops and realme showrooms. But as I discovered in my own scrambling, the Pro’s “Birch Wood” edition is a unicorn online. Stock levels swing wildly, especially post-launch.

If you are chasing deals, the early bird window (6–10 pm, launch day only) is your best bet. Otherwise, brace for limited-time colours, “flash sales,” and those aches only new-release shoppers know. I suggest setting a reminder. Maybe two.

Realme P4 Series AI Features Explained: Useful or Gimmick?

Everyone’s launching something “AI-powered” in 2025. But with the Realme P4 Series, upscale games in real time feel silkier, videos snap to attention as if the phone is constantly whispering, “We can do better.” The camera’s AI scene-detection works, albeit a bit too eager. Also the built-in Hyper Vision chip is no slouch and actually reduces lag, especially when you are deep into PUBG or streaming live cricket at noon in the scorching heat. Are the AI features perfect? No. But they are far more than rebranded algorithms.

Final Verdict: Is the Realme P4 Series Worth Buying in 2025?

Although no phone is perfect, the Realme P4 Series marks a turning point in mid-range unpredictability. It is openly bold, heavy, vibrant, and occasionally weird (due to AI). The AI features encourage the competition to take action, the camera is ambitious, and the battery is a blessing.

Is it for everyone? No. But you can’t ignore it. Realme P4 Series has set the bar for what we expect from phones at these prices globally and especially in India. Will it win over die-hard Samsung or Xiaomi fans? Maybe not overnight. But I wouldn’t bet against it. And if you are sitting on the fence, at least go test the Pro in-person and see that screen flare under midday sun. You will understand.

Which feature grabs you first the battery, the AI magic, or maybe that wood-effect design? Would you switch, or are you loyal to another brand? Drop your opinions in the comments. Let’s talk this is the kind of tech shift that begs for smart, unfiltered debate.
